Hello, I have recently baught a xbox (made in china - last number is 6) and I would like to know if there are any modchips working on this new version. I think it's a version 1.6 (if not I know that most of modchips are compatible with 1.5). Thank you in advance!
most modern modchips can hack it, but there is no compatible BIOS yet, so even tho the chip will work, there is no way you can do anything with it.
Can you explain the difference between being able to hack an XBox and having a working BIOS? What exactly do you mean by the chips are able to hack the XBox? Thanks, Web
The chip breaks the boot sequence and allows a different bios to load instead of the m$ that comes on the xbox. While the chip can now succesfully hack the boot sequence they're still working on a bios that the xbox will accept.
