How to backup PS2 DVDs

OK I couldnt' find a guide so here I am. I heard you can use DVD Decrypter to back up PS2 DVDs. Is this correct & how do i go about it?

Are there any other apps that will do this for me? I also use DVD Shrink and Nero

1. Start DVD Decrypter
2. Select Mode, go down to ISO Read
3. Select your Reader & Destination
4. “Decrypt” the ISO Image to the Hard Drive
5. Wait for the ISO Image to be made
6. Select Mode, go down to ISO Write
7. Select the ISO Image file you made, click “Open”
8. Select your Burner, Write speed & Burn the ISO
when you select the speed burn it @ X1 less chance of errors

That sounds great. So essentially it's the same proces as backing up a DVD-5? Link was good too.

Is there protection on Sony PS2 DVDs (like CSS)?

ive moded the hell out of my xbox and now im working on the ps2...but i have a question(that might sound noobish)why do you have to ftp and then run a decoding program with xbox games to backup, but i just read(in a forum here) that you can backup ps2 games by just copying with Nero.are the two formats diffrent, (besides the obvious)and what is the diffrence....why are ps2 games easier to backup?

the xbox games use there own propriety file system on the disks (like the dreamcast did). whereas the ps2 just uses the normal standardised file system for DVD's.
