hopefully someone can help me out with this. i have a model 30001 R which i believe is a v5/v6 after reading other posts. i'm thinking about getting a duo chip for my ps2, but my question is this: after viewing the install info from modchipstore.com, do i need to worry about what bios i have, and if i do, how do i find out what bios ver. i have? thanks in advance!

You dont need to worry about the bios. The duo is totally compatible.
