I have looked through all the threads for info on how to use cheats with ar max using smdvd and flip top, nothing has worked for, me can any one tell me if it is possible and how to do it, I have tried this way, ar max, select cheats, insert smdvd, press x at smdvd load screen, swap for backup.
Hmmm... Unfortunately I have an NTSC system and use the Gameshark and I can't test the AR Max. Have you only tried it with one game? If so try another game just in case the the codes in generall don't work with that particular game. However if you've already tried it with the original and it worked then there would be no need to try it with another game. I'll search around a bit and see if I can find a method for the AR MAX.
you were right m8, the codes didn't work. I tried cta vice city and matt hoffmans, and they didn't work on the originals either, the codes were duff!.
I got the cheats to work by selecting heats, inserting smdvd, then dvdloader, then smdvd as TOC, and then backup. thank god I only have to go through that once with each game lol.
