I have had my cd-rw burner for sometime now but previously, it just stopped working. It is an external cd-rw. The bay wont open when i press the open button, the computer recognises it but cant read cd's when i put them in. can anyone please help me out? Much thanx!
I could just be old... and needs to be replaced. Are you running XP? If so, have you tried un-installing your drive, rebooting and letting XP re-install it? You could also post in the right forum, seeing how this is for dvd-r. But I think you just need a new one.
