Sorry if this is a stupid question. I heard that you could go through USB or ethernet, not sure if that is right. Can you give me links where to buy any or both, and if it doesn't come with the software/firmware I need links to that to? Thanks for any help you can provide.
I'm not familiar with your model of camcorder but if it's a digital camcorder then it should have a firewire output port. If it does just buy a firewire card for your PC. This would be a good excuse to upgrade your sound card because the Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum has two firewire ports. One on the sound card itself and another on the internal breakout box.
