I see the demise of Apple's Demi-god was greatly exaggerated. Glad he's feeling better, nevertheless.

I do hope he is ok and has many good years left. We are all lucky to be alive and post comments in silly forums while 20,000 children died of Malaria today.

This is not even a competition anymore...Apple will completely and utterly destroy the competition...Motorola overpriced and will fail...RIM and HP are coming too late. The iPad 2 will rule, 44 million estimated sales is underselling by a heinous amount. 100 million is coming, Apple runs on tiger blood and warlock time. This is the end game

I think it has a lot to do with what Jobs said about how they have Apple stores, so support comes natively, as opposed to buying all of the other tablets at Best Buy and praying that a single person there has experience with your particular model, let alone your particular problem.

Apple has this Tablet market on lockdown. The average consumer sees most of the competing tablets as copycats or "wannabe" iPads. Apple is very successful with their marketing of this product.

Also unlike the cellphone market when Android phones began appearing as an alternative to those who could not get an iPhone because of Apple's carrier restrictions, anyone can go out and buy an iPad. I just don't see any of these other devices being able to compete. At least not this year.

Hmm, but does it have flash?

EDIT- More importantly though... will it blend?
