AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

my backup of marvel vs. capcom 2 freezes

I burned my marvel vs. capcom 2 cd with nero using the "copy entire disc" option, and it burned at 52x using a memorex cd. I boot the cd using the swap magic cd and it boots perfect, but then it freezes when one of the characters(zangief)does a special move(final atomic buster), this happens every time he does that same move. should I have burned it at a lower speed? or should I create an image file on my hard drive and then burn it to a cd? if anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it.

would recomend that you burn at a slower speed than 52x this is most likly the problem also it would not hurt to create an image on your hard disc then burn back, may i suggest you try a burn speed of 16x or less

It could be the brand of media you are using. Generally speaking, the older the PS2, the higher quality media you have to use to make successful backups. Also try burning at 1x if possible.
