Hey guys. Before i start i have v1.0 xbox 80 g hdd, aladdin advance and evox 3925 and a thommy drive My xbox has been acting up a little lately, when i go into evo x and put in my backups or origionals it says: 'game' in the top right corner, as it should. When i choose play from the options it works fine, straight from the disk. Ok... Now if i eject the game it goes back to the evo x screen (as it should) NOW MY ISSUE ... when i put another game in the drive and close the dvd drive it checks the game as usual but now in the top right hand corner it says MEDIA and if i choose play it says this is an xbox game put in in your xbox... But it IS in my xbox. If i turn the xbox off and then change games it works fine. This happens with my originals and backups. It seems my xbox has a split personality, one minute it thinks its an xbox the other minute it thinks its a pc. Is my drive rooted? or is it just a bug in evo x? It has never happened before. normally that message is when u have burnt a xbox games just using yuor pc which cant be done and it only creates a image size of about 15mb. But if it happens with originals then i dunno what the problem is.
