I read in a post that you can modify your bios to enable ftp and you can then install evolution x to the xbox via ftp. Can anyone walk me through the steps to do this?
Hundreds of tuts on this at www.x-scene.com -No you can't mod your BIOS to FTP, no such thing. -To start up FTP, use an evoX boot disk, then you can transfer over evoX.
boxmods is 100% right the bios on a mochip, boots up your xbox with basic "instructions" if you like,(you can actually take off a modchip when your xbox booted up, and youll still be in evox,it wont show an error, good for hotswapping etc) the ftp part is all done via progs/ apps/ dash in you hdd or by a disc on your dvd rom drive
