PS2 + duo chip - not all dvdrips work

i have few dvdrips on cd's and some of them are working well (wrc,auto modellista) and some doesn't (shox,burnout). All of them where burning in the same way and on the same media (verbatim).
some games boot ok and shows only black ps2 cd picture and stops, when press X, ps2 spins cd and backs black ps2 cd picture again
i've got v4 ps2 with duo modchip, is it problem with the game or my ps2/modchip?
