I have a wireless router but i dont know cr@p about playing online with PSP.. are there any tutorials or anything or an explanation?.. Thanks a lot, in advanced, guys :)..

Hi, I plan on getting a Wireless Access Point but I was wondering do you just plug it into the back of your computer then make a connection on your PSP or do you have to have your computer turned on and connected to the internet the whole time you play?

Please help

liam016,
you dont have to have your PC turned on at all times but it is wise to have the internet turned on at all times, otherwise your psp wont be able to pick up the internet connection.
by the way, the router[wireless access point] doesnt plug into the back of your computer but is connected to the phoneline via a 2-way splitter[one for internet the other for the telephone].
ask your ISP[internet sevice provider] on details how to connect it.
SORRY IF I CONFUSED YOU

But is the internet always turned on? Because when I go on my computer I have to press connect to use the internet. But with my psp wont the internet go straight down the ethernet cable to the wireless acces point? It's not like there is anything to stop it right?

judging by what you said it appears to me that you a dial-up connection.
anyway, it wont always be connected to the internet, instead when you try connect to the internet on your psp when you havent connected to the internet it will show this message-

'A connection error has occurred.
the access point was not detected.'

connection name xxxxx
SSID xxxxx

I have 2mb Homecall broadband (now called Pipex) and to use the internet I have to open the Homecall program and press connect. However I thought that was only because it is on the computer. Surely when you are connecting your psp to the router you can always make the connection because the internet comes straight down the phone line and doesn't have to go through the computer first?

Besides the small, but anoying problem that only a small percentage of the Worlds Denizens can actully speak, read and write Japanese. In which case you'll just have to purchase a copy of Wipeout Pure and use the Wipepout Browser there.

No my Friend a proper Browse would include Macomedia Flash, which for reasions only known to $0NY, are stubernly refuesing to give us! That's the only >proper way< I know of to use the Web!!

But of course I'll probably be useing it to view Threads in 2ch, 4ch, and iichan.

what do you mean do you mean just conecting the psp to your router(not the net) if so that is free

but if you want to use your psp on the net then you will only have to pay your isp for the internet you use /like your pc\ hoped that helped :P
