Turn it off from the back switch and then back on. Turn emu back on and check again.

Yep, it updates to about 100% or 250% then flicks back to the channel but still nothing. It just keeps doing that.

Got it here, emo's? library...tried a few different ones but they didnt seem to work, so asked a couple of questions here and was sent a link to the correct one. I'll try flash it again and see if that helps.

hi again, still have more or less the same problem. I have re-downloaded and re-scanned with latest firmware, seemed ok, even tried the 'bad flash' technique which also seemed to work ok. Uploading the channel file after scanning failed repeatedly. I think the channel download / upload might have messed the box up originally. Autoscan still gives about 20 channels. Tried default & factory reset. Update goes to 100%. Sound sometimes on or off (off at the moment). Sorry to say, totally fed up. Missed Stockport County as well. Perhaps it is just a bad cable connection. Any ideas?

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit

Scan on all providers as CC has aligned some areas try telepest and N*L

Make sure your incoming cable is in the "Cable Input" socket at the back of the Starvi*w

go to page one of this thread and read the third post down to check and see if you have your box set to the correct port
