I have xbox live and an xecuter 2 modchip 2.3b with bios x2 4983. It is my understanding that the bios will send a signal to the xbox that will stop any attempt to connect to xbox live if the modchip is left on accidently. I want to confirm that and I would also like to know how to make a evolution x boot disk that will use my wireless nic to transfer games to backup. How do I do this?
regarding live you can either switch of your chip to go live or launch MS dashboard from evox, either way dont try going live with a backup game. Regarding connection, it doesnt make a difference if yo use wireless or cable, its still going to work as a network connection to your pc. checkout network tutorials on xbox-scene.com btw, you will need an alternative dashboard in your xbox, such as evolution x
I dont want to go on live. I want to network my laptop with my xbox via the wireless nic. I am using a net cable now and i dont want to have to unplug the thing every time I want to backup a game. Can I configure evolution x to use the wireless net card?
