The links below show how to make subtile for your DivX: http://search.netscape.com/ns/boomf...ww.divx-digest.com/articles/subrip-mpeg4.html http://www.nanomessiah.com/dvd-backup/ogm-divx The methods in these two had not been thoroughly tested, so do them at your own care. My curiosity is this: if you make more than one CDs of DivX, for example, one DVD movie into 3 CDs, how are you going to divide subtitle text file into separate part for the individual CD? Subtitle synching issue will be the problem here. Could we do the followings: Method: Rip the first 10 chapters off the main movie, and convert this 10-chapter into DivX with its corresponding subtitle and burn this into the first CD. Then the subsequent 10 chapters would be treated in the same way as this. Chapter synchronization might be an issue here. There are a lot of other better methods out there that can do this subtitle thing for DivX. What do you think?
For DivX, VobSub gives larger file size then SubRip gives. The problem that we may face is how to play these DivX with subtitle.
