Playback Acronyms

    I have problems with my burnt DVD's my picture is very bad and I don't know how to describe the picture problem.
    Is there somewhere that I can find some Acronyms that will describe my problem?
    Until I know what is and called I can't get any help on it or find any help.

    See I have just found on this site the word PIXELATED, which relates to picture quality.

    What does it mean? I know it has got to do with the way the picture is behaving, but how?
