no sound but i got picture

    I really need some help ASAP! my tv will show me the picture but i have no sound on any channel . ive tried to unhoook the s peaker wires and then rewire them but it dosen't work I need help i have really got to get it fixed. can anyone! HELP!

    What kind of receiver? How is the audio hooked up (analog, digital coax, optical)? Are you on cable, sat or regular tv? Is cable or sat box Dolby Digital?
    Give as much info as you can.................. :)
