hi ther,
im looking to play my back-up games
but affraid to mod it, plus its expensive (im a student)

does any1 know if the swap mafics discs will play the dvd9? (dual-layed discs)

also, if i have a ripped backup of a dvd game which is 700mb and its doesnt play on the cd-r disc
can i simply put it onto a dvd-r disc???
will this work, cos i dont mind wasting all the space cos they are cheap media 29p per disc

thanks,

no the swap magic cannot play dvd9, i dont think you can put a dvd rip on a cd and expect it to work i think you have to either put it on a cd or put the full version onto a dvd disc.

and if you can install a chip yourself (not very hard) you can get a chip cheaper than what the swap magic discs and fliptop would cost (if you get the fliptop)

pm sent (or will be sent in a couple minutes if you read this right away)
