Recently I have just purchased a Optiplex Dell PC. It has a LITE CD ROM and TEAC DV-W58E DVD RW/CD RW. The PC cames with Roxio software (version 5). Downloaded DVD Shrink version 3.1.7. When I started burning DVD, I realised that this model of DVD only recognise DVD +R and DVD +RW. My problem now is 1. All the burnt TDK DVD + R will not play in the Skytronic DVD player. It plays well in my PC DVD ROM. 2. All the burnt TDK DVD + RW will have a error message in the Skytronic DVD player "No Disk". It plays well in my PC DVD ROM. Contacted Dell Support and they have advised me to upgrade the firmware and I have done the upgrade (DOJ.zip and BR77686.exe). Still the same situation. Hope to get some advise.
