dvd+r dl media

where can i buy some i got a sony dl burner today. the store one sells the dl media with a pack of empty jewel cases and a dvd+rw by verbatim. its only a single disc as well for 20.00. anyone know who else sells them in larger quantities then singles

Memorex will have some out in a few weeks with a suggested retail price of $12.99 according to the press release:

There is really no competition for Verbatim right now so they can charge as much as they like. They probably want to defray the development and production costs of the new format so I imagine prices will be rather high for several more months. Things should be a bit more reasonable once a few more manufacturers get up to speed on DL.

I just can't imagine how pissed I would be if I made a couple of $20.00 coasters!

In 92 I was paying upwards of 25 bucks for a 650 mb cd blank, and with a 486 it was a hit and miss kinda thing.
