IE falls under 50 percent total traffic market share

According to new data from netmarketshare.com, Internet Explorer has fallen under 50 percent in total market share, mainly thanks to Safari's 62.17 percent share in mobile traffic.
Safari, the default browser for iOS devices like the iPhone, has helped IE fall to 49.6 percent share.

For the month ended October 31st, Firefox remained in second at 21.20 percent of traffic with Chrome in 3rd at 16.60 percent.

This means absolute bupkis when the bulk of Apple users are primarily geared towards 'not' changing out their browser on their iphud. Either because they didn't know they could or because the processes isn't as simple as on an android device. I mean kudos for the propaganda & when the elitist's go before their cattle... sorry their money bags... sorry again, their clients to assure them that they should put all they have into canned food & shot guns, (shit!) I mean into Apple stocks, these numbers/statistics will have them sporting a blue steeled chub that a puma couldn't scratch, but that really is all these numbers are; just figures. As our distinguished readers know, statistics can be written down to literally say Anything.

from one proprietary browser to another, where is apple class action suit to require them to enable all browsers on their OS. as weird is it sounds its unfair to M$ to require them to give you options on the default browser, yet apple is allowed to lock all other browsers out. double standards. opera ftw anyways. firefox when opera isn't displaying a page right(rare).

I agree. Neither Windows or OSX "lock" browsers out, but MS was forced to notify you of options other than IE, while Apple does not. I was one of those Netscape users lost in the shuffle, forced to use IE for a couple years and along came Firefox, and I haven't looked back. Chrome's not bad either.

Well this does NOT sound right... IE is up around 50%?! I know there's a lot of clueless people on the internets but near 50%?! I just don't believe this is credible.
