Well as i have been reading about copying games to the hard drive I came out with this... Lets think that I have a modded xbox with a 120gb hd and I copy a xbox live compatible game into the hard drive then play it offline. But then I want to go play live with it, will M$ know that im not using a original dvd game? So you dont get banned? Maybe you've discuss this before with someone, if you have guess that before sorry then for posting it.

You must have your chip off or your eeprom will be banned from xb live. Therefore, when your chip is off you can't play backups. No backups on HD with XBLive.

Xboxtech...I would go ahead and try it if I were you. It won't work for the rest of us but I have a gut feeling you should try it. If you have problems doing it then call Microsoft directly and give them the serial number on your Xbox and also your home address.
