Burning ps2 games

    I got a regular CDRW, and not a dvd burner, I just burn the Dvdrips using nero by burning image option,
    my question is generaly why do i need a dvd burner and what is the recommended speed for burning
    (i know 1x is not good but what good then)

    1-This is for movies, there is a ps2 forum for ps2 questions (its funny like that)
    2-DVD rips in my opinion are pirated copies (not tolerated here)
    3-You need a dvd burner to burn dvd's, if you dont want to burn dvd's you dont need a burner (again it's funny like that)
    4-1x is the best speed for burning ps2
