Backed-up a couple of dvd's using xpress and each of the dvd's played on 2 different dvd rom players but would'nt play on my home theater player. Never had this problem before. Anyone have a clue what the problem might be?

what media brand are you using and will that media play on your stand alone?
did you switch your media brand?
did you write at a different speed?
these things could have cause a problem.

biglog9, thanks for the reply. I bought some 2.4x speed blanks and have had a lot of problems with them. As far as I know they were written at the same speed (didn't know you could change speed in xpress). Others discs have been backed-up and played on my dvd roms on my computers and my home theatre player, but these just played on the computers.
