ftp no mod

    everywere i read u need evox or some other dash board to ftp ur xbox but i have found u can give ur xbox a static ip using xbox live settings and u dont need a mod chip to play burnt games if burnt onto a cdrw but i cant ping my xbox or ftp it has anyone used live method of giving ip
    is the problem that i am using a hub with 2 straght through cables instead of a crossover

    sorry i meant evox bios u need evolution dash board
    i know it would be easier just to mod xbox but i dont want to until i get dvd burner
