I finally got a huge 4.4 gig .img file downloaded of this movie I wanted, put it into the daemon manager to make the img into a virtual drive and it burned it sucessfully with nero using a simple dvd copy procedure. The first problem is that it plays on my computer, but wont play on any other dvd players because it gets a region error. So how would I go about changing the region on files that have already been authored? I tried a few programs but they all want to rip the files and save them as something else entirely. Is there anything that can just strip the region encoding out if I pull the files out onto my hard drive and copy from there?

the second question is a simple newbie question (I hope). When I play this movie on my computer it appears to have a funky aspect ratio, the whole picture appears squashed like its supposed to be widescreen and is being forced into full screen. Do you think this will play fine on a normal dvd player and a widescreen tv? or do I have to go and fix it the hard way?
