    I have a router, one nic card in my pc, ihave a x-over cable and a straight through cable. i want to ftp into my xbox and surf the web at the same time. how can i do this? please keep in mind am in the uk my internet provider is telewest which is a cable company. i am a cpmplete newbie so i will need all the setting etc. please help

    Run the FTP server behind the firewall (i.e., have the client point to the local ip rather than the wan-ip) :)

    Well I have managed to ftp my xbox and surf the net at the same time so tahts all sorted thanx praetor. my new problem is i want to install xbmc on my xbox but i havent got a clue how to. i tried ftp all the files in to the e and it dint work please help

    if i hook up my xbox to a router do i have to change any ip settings or anything like that?

    no, hook itup to a router and switch on yourxbox ur router will automatically assign a ip address to ur xbox. then use flashfxp to connect to that p adress and remember if your doing it through a router to use a straight through cable and to have static ip turned off in the xbox settings

    Yeah, I had the same problem as you but that setup works for i am online and i can ftp my xbox
