Help please, I've got the following problem: I can't play Live Enabled games on my (modded) Xbox. My Xbox isn't connected with the internet so I can't be banned. I can play non-live games whenever I want, without problems. My Xbox is probably automatically updated by such live-games as Midtown madness 3, Rallisport challenge 2 or XIII. Can anyone help me? I know the website how to delete live-files on the game back-ups. But how can I remove Live from my Xbox? Is it true that I need to re-install Evox (Evolution-X)?
EvolutionX v+3921 Strangely I got DRIV3R today, backed it up to my harddisk and deleted the Livefiles. And now I can fully play driver. But I still can't play MM3, RSC 2, XIII or Rainbow Six 3. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]I'm A NewBie, Please Don't Mention It[/small]
what modchip do you have, because I have a xenium ice solderless and if you used the hard drive updgrade wizard to install your new hard drive, then that is your problem it doesnt allow for newer live games to be able to be played. I had a tutorial bookmarked , but I can't find it now. Look in the xbox-scene.com forums for it. It worked for me because I had the same problem
Hey man I'm having the same problem so if anyone can give an easy tutorial on how to fix this I would appreciate it.
I haven't modded my xbox myself. But I do know that I'm not using a modchip, it's flashed. But I've probably got the most likely answer to the problem. If you bought a live-enabled game, first load the Evox and then insert disc (so the game wont boot up). You have to back-up the game. Delete the Live-files (check the website; mostly download.xbe and update.xbe) and now you can launch the game. Do not launch the game when you still got the files, the update will be done undercover (nothing to see at the dashboard) and all live-games will be unplayable. I tried the solution with 2 games, they both worked. If it doesn't work on your Xbox, make sure that your MSdash isn't uploaded (else use the backup to renew). I hope the problem is solved now, my xbox works again at full power! (one negative point; live-games that are already backed-up at your harddisc must be renewed. Deleting the live-files only won't work)
