Flash dvd rom to read xbox

    Does anyone know if it is possible to change the bios in a normal dvd rom to think its an xbox drive ? If not there should be because the xbox can read out to in and in to out, so should the dvd rom be able.

    ?? An Xbox "drive" is a DVD drive. If you have a regular CD drive in your PC, it won't show up. Your PC's CD drive must be DVD compadible.

    Mabey you didnt read my post properly but i said that it was a dvd rom so obviously it is dvd compatible..
