But at that point you're still storing it locally and so what's the real difference? Would surely make it easier on devs, but only if every manufacturer and OS developer allowed and used it.
Between poor coverage and data limits, the world isn't ready for html5 apps unless they were placed inside frameworks that made them work like normal apps, without an internet connection.
