Hello, this could be same problem as below..
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/88536
    But here is my story..
I had some kids playing with my xbox and i thought it was no harm. But kids end up with a live connection and as i came there i shutdown xbox quickly. I dont know how long connection last and i didn't even look closely what was reading on the screen.. i just shutdown xbox.

After that i noticed that XBMC wont get up.. i remember there was some red text on screen showing some problems with language.xml and only ftp server was set up. So i went to my pc and get connection with ftp and i see a complete mess! a lot of files where missing and i couldn't see all drives. and C and Q drives was identical(?).. so i began uploading XBMC files.. and then transfer stops!! i went back to downstairs to my xbox and i noticed that my girfriend has shutdown xbox!.. she thought i just forget it on.. :(

Ok... now xbox wont start up even with 'red text'. I just see Xecuter2 logo..but then nothing happens. I have samsung drive and xbox used to read all cd-r's.. so i burn two different Evox boot disc but they wont work. Then i tryed DVD-R boot disc and no help..

    Here is some questions..
Is it possible that Live updated my bios? I had flash enable jumper connected.. But i can still see my xecure2 logo.. Or has live connection just updated my files in harddrive?
Why i canot boot with bootdisc!?

Thanks for everyone who had time for reading this!

no, live didn't update the bios. Proof of that is the fact that your xecuter bios still boots.
Just use the right media, that's it. If it won't read a disc that you think it should, try it several times (like 20 times) before you give up on that media. Also, go to xbox-scene to make sure you're burning the disc properly.

Thanks for your help. But i try and try.. but it didn't accept any disc. I can hear bad noise from DVD. And sometimes it try to read disc a very long time. So i assume that it is because of poor boot discs (i try evox with CD-R, DVD-R, CD-RW).

So i opened the DVD rom and found some sticky juice inside :) Ok.. i think my kids has taking victory against xbox DVD-rom. I remember that once i found three CD's inside xbox :) So it could be broken.. I haven't use DVD for a long time because of my 100mbit network that i use for file transfer... So maybe dvd has been broke for a long time...

ok.. Now i have taken HDD out of the xbox and i unlocked it and removed lock. Now i try to transfer evox directly to hdd.. and after that i try to boot up evox from hdd and set up rest of the xbox files thru ftp.

btw. Can i set HDD lock back enabled with ATAPWD?

unless xp can recognize the xbox hdd format (I haven't really messed with xp. I'm still stuck in the past with win98 :p), you won't be able to do it that way (unlocking hdd and putting it in the pc). At least I don't think you can. Well, at least I wasn't able to with win98. Haha, we'll leave it at that :p.
And for your last question, I'm not sure either. Sorry I can't help further.
