Problem loading PS2 dvd backups with Hd Loader

Hi All,

Ok i have a 50002 model Pal PS2 with a Messiah 2 chip installed.
I have a 120 gig Maxtor hard drive and an original Pal copy of Hd Loader.
I can transfer cdr back ups to the hard drive but Not dvd back ups.
It always says not a valid PS2 disc.
Can anyone please help me and give me step by step instructions.
All help will be muchly appreciated.
I have tried with my chip on and off.

i don't know much about this, but i've read something about using dvdloader to transfer dvd backups to hd.

try searching the forum for more info
