trying to put dvd2xbox 05.8 into the dashboard. currently using evox m7 / slayer's evolution v +3921 which has dvd2xbox 04.9 can i put this newer version into the dash and how? i have tried unzipping the dvd2xbox-058-src.zip files to a folder on the desktop. i then tranfered them to a folder into the xbox but got errors from the ftp program and not all files are being copied. do i have the correct file or do i need to update to a newer bios instead? thanks for reading replies greatly appreciated.
usually you unzip the files and put it all into your apps folder iun your xbox,it should show up in your apps setting in your xbox menue.
thanks, i unzipped the files and extracted them to a folder on the desktop. i then ftp'd them from that folder (which i named dvd2xbox) and it overwrote the old one. i backed up the old just in case. seems to run ok and it is there in the dashboard which now displays the current version. can this be done to some of the other apps in there?
