Ive read through about half of the posts on this section of the forum...and about 5 pages of the full guide. I have a few quick questions. Please bear with me since I have not done this and may be asking basic questions... Im assuming that I could have a collection of gc images on my computer I can choose from when loading? Biggest question is everyone saying games run choppy...does anyone have a list of games tried and how they run? I'm only going to buy a gamecube if this works well, the networking seems simple (have a modded xbox) but the choppy games scare me...dont want to buy them system then spend $35 on bba and however much pso1&2 costs (cant find PSO). Id really like to know about the nintendo exclusive games (zelda, metroid, RE) and information will be greatly appreciated!
Hello Schiltz and welcome to the forum, To answer your questions: 1) Yes, you can choose which game you want to load and you can browse through folders to find the one you want. I keep all of my images in one folder so they're easy to access. 2) Yes, most games DO run choppy, only the ones that load most things at the beginning of the game and load minimal things later ingame, run smoothly. To view a list of working/non-working games go here: http://gc-compat.webhop.net/ 3) Looking back on my Gamecube purchase, I honestly don't think I would have bought it if I hadn't been duped by Nintendo. I still love Nintendo...but they made the impression that they had hundreds of great games coming out soon and many of them were third-party exclusives, however, as you probably know, this has not been the case. Unless you just have to play a few games that are only on the Cube and also run smoothly through streaming, I belive I would pass it up and just stick with the Xbox. Take a look over the compatibilty list I gave you a link for and decide for yourself if you think it's worth it. Hope that helped you out a bit! --Joe
