the reason I ask is because I'm still a bit confused as to how this whole Swap Magic thing works. Now I want to get one thing straight here, I'm not talking about burned games or backups or whatever. I'm talking about factory pressed discs here, ok.

Is there even a TOC issue when using Swap Magic to load an original Japanese or PAL disc? It seems to me that the more reading I do, the more I discover that TOC Refresh discs are only used with bunrned (backup) games.

Take a popular culprit, Xenosaga, for example. It's a DVD9. But usually it's burned onto smaller sized discs, so you need a TOC refresh program to give it a boost to load, right? Okay. But what if you actually own the original import of Xenosaga and want to load it using Swap Magic? Is there still going to be that TOC issue?

I hope this makes sense.

swap magic has a size of 4.36gigs (or around there), and the swap magic cd has a size of 630megs (i think). So the swap magic dvd can't load anything over 4.36gigs (so xenosaga is a big no) and the cd cant load anything over 630megs. The only way to play your original import of xenosaga is with a modchip.

Well, there's a fix for Xenosaga in swapmagicfix @.@ but yeah, it involves making a backup of your original and burning it into a DVD-R
