    k here we go

I have a second NIC card so I go in STATIC.
Now what i do is make sure my box is set to a static IP
    192.168.0.222
Now I go into where my NIC card is in my windows,in control panel(look for it)
You will get to it and right click it,there will be a window with a list of hardware....find your NIC card and highlight it and click 'properties'

Here is where you will set a static IP

Since my xbox IP is 192.168.0.222 I will set my PC IP to one up/down on the last cluster
    192.168.0.221
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.0.10
    (these are my settings)
Now once this is all done, open flash fxp and set it up likewise

the Ip you fill in in flash fxp will be your XBOX IP
    (192.168.0.222)
    user-xbox
    password-xbox

now connect. Easy as pie. (I use a crosswire and a second NIC) You can use two cat5's and a hub or router too....this should help ya though.
