i have 2 333 ram module value ram and im pretty sure i have 1 of them is faulty because i have blue screen come up when i play 3d games. saying that i need to do test on the rams with diagnostic or something. do u guys know a software to this ( check if they r ok) or where to get it, thanks again.
Testing Ram is done with software that take into account the architecture of your Processor. The most often used one is the X86 one so here is a link to download a Ramtest freeware that works great. http://www.memtest86.com/
1. You can always do a full memtest at bootime 2. Another good tester is PCWizard (http://www.cpuid.com ) and run it through the tests 3. Might it be the memory is overheatin' ?
