OK heres the problem. I got some apps for the box. XBMC, dvd2xbox, dvdx2, and linksboks. I downloaded them and unrared them. Then I connected to my xbox and transfered them to my E:/Apps folder. Then I rebooted the xbox. Then when i go to the dashboard menu--->Apps the only thing I find is dvd2xbox. I have a DivX movie on my computer that I would like to play on my xbox, is it possible, if so what app should i use, dvdx2? Thanxz for your time!
When you transfer over each folder, make sure that the default.xbe file is in that folder, and you don't have a folder in a folder. Use XBMC to play that.
what u mean by u dont have a folder in a folder. When I have my Apps folder in the E drive i just transfer the app folder to it rite? what he means is like you have E/APPS then your folder of whatever you want. For instance E/Apps/DVD2BOX rather then something like this witch would not show up on your dashboard menu. E/Apps/myxboxprograms/dvdprograms/DVD2box you know what i mean
and also each programs default.xbe is diff for that program its just named default.xbe so the xbox will read the file. There can be a million default.xbe's on your app folder but each one is for a certain program
