Well if you are crazy enough to pay for a system that may not let you play used games... go ahead, I am not that stupid.

I will never pay for a console that will not let you play used games.

Wasn't that a rumor? That will kill businesses like GameFly and GameStop.

Unless "used" in the context of PS2-PS1 games...

I would think most games will require you to be connected, and once you go online with the game it will make the connection between the serial number in the cpu and the game you have.

PS4 will be like 330-350€ in Finland after a month when it's released... because PS3 at-first was 350€, then it dropped to 260 in a month, so if i apply the same logic to the PS4, it will be almost 70-90€ cheaper in a month... i guess

And if the price stays at 400€,

I think this time Sony will try to avoid a premium price.
They can't afford to have a cheap price given the financial shape they are in but I suspect the days of them opening with a £425/$600 price-tag are long gome.

The interesting thing will be what they find when they tear-down the thing.
I expect a lot of pretty ordinary off the shelf componentry & little that will stand-out.

But there's nothing wrong with that (I expect Microsoft to be similar.....in fact I bet both new consoles to be remarkable similar, despite minor differences).
It ought to mean that the next gen get fairly cheap pretty quickly.

they have a good comfortable controller now.. why make pathetic looking one thats just straight and not gonna be comfortable. but hey who cares right the chinks just want your money. well blow me.

lets hope these controllers now work with it. $530.00!!!! are you fucking seriouse!!!! this is only a game system,, this thing better wipe my ass for that price!!

i will bet anyone 100 to 1 says there is really no ACTUAL difference betweek the ps3 and ps4,, not much better in graphics, we all know that... what is really gonna make the ps4 ANY different between the ps3.. oooo a bigger hard, ummmm different looking menu system.... ummmmm hardware wont be much beefier than it is right now... it will be atleast a year or so before i touch one.

How do you know this user is in a country that allows that kind of deal? Oh wait, I bet you're one of those that thinks the USA is the whole world, so everyone must be the same... right?

In some countries, you only get SEVEN days, and some of the conditions are that you cannot customise the product (or use it in some cases) in any way. So if part of the setup is to create a PSN account, and then tie that to the console, you can kiss that option goodbye. Especially if they tie a machine ID to your PSN account.

Try engaging your brain, before typing smart-ass comments... or was that something else you gave back after 90 days?

Oh well i guess i am wrong for making that comment?

Oh wait, i do not care.

I can and will purchase it and if i do not like it then i will take it back to costco, simple as that.

If he is not in a country that allows that then that is his misfortune.

Am i suppose to think sympathetic thoughts before making a comment? No, excuse me but never that especially when it is concerning a thread about a gaming system. Death, yes, not this type of thread though pal. So keep kicking rocks.
