Dual Layer Burner

    Does anyone know anything about the mad dog dual layer burner they have.Its one of the cheapest ones I've found.It says 2.4x DVD+R DL.Is the dvd+R DL a special disc or can you just use the regular DVD+R? Sur would appreciate some bodys help.Should I get it now or should I wait?

    I think your burner is an OEM NEC 2510A. It will burn regular +/-R(RW)'s as well as dual layer media. Dual layer media is currently around $15/piece.

    Mine is the same and so far has been burning regular Rs and RWs with no problems. As for DL disks at this stage I do not believe it is worth paying the extra premium that is asked for them.
