I am new to the dvd backin up world. I have read the instructions on this and have already read a cd. I should be gettin my dvd-rw this weekend. Now my question is when i back up this dvd will it be the same as the original? Meaning with the extra footage, behind the sences, etc, or just the movie. In the days of dvd to cd-r i know that u can get just the movie.

    thanks!

    peace! ROB

If your original DVD is under 4.3G, you can do a str8 copy using DVDdecrypter in ISO mode.

If the DVD is over 4.3G (DVD-9) then you will have to rip the files that you want, edit them and burn them. There are several ways to go. You can split the movie to 2 DVD-Rs, you can reencode to make the files smaller, you can put the movie on one disc and the extras on the other... You'll need to do some research and download some software. You'll find plenty of help here.
