Probably everyone knows about this already ,but if not here goes, I bought a copy of a well known female artist and decided to make a backup copy for myself, I use roxio platinum 6.0 so I loaded up the program and settled down to copy my new disc ,My DVD rom was making some pretty perculiar noises so I tried to eject this cd couldnt get it to release even tried frantically pressing reset on the pc , , a Little box popped up You need to make changes before you can play this cd in this pc It said ...yes or no? I clicked NO , I read somewhere that someting is being put on some cds , which replaces or alters the windows driver and prevents copying, necessitating replacement of the windows driver or worse! Am I correct? If so Can anyone suggest a cd ripper that decrypts and is roxio compatible, ie wont cause conflict problems?
