I'm using a cheap little nYko 8Mb memory card. I'm afraid my data might be corrupt. I've initialized it and have been able to stream games(using Phoenix 2.3) well enough, but when I loaded up Viewtiful Joe, it didn't have my save game data. I was shocked, so I took out PSO, and put in Mario Kart DD (a game I actually own) and it was saying I didn't have my data and that it wanted to format the memory card. I said no to that and went to the memory card manager (just to be sure) and it said the samething. What should I do? ? ? ?

Non-OEM memory cards have always been a bit flakey from my experience. You might try picking up one of the old 51 block cards or whatever size they were cheap somewhere and using it only for streaming. As far as retrieving your old data, I do believe it's still intact but what most likely ocurred is the directory table got corrupted and there are no tools to repair such a problem being that memory card data isn't exactly a critical loss.
