Booting PS2 Backups While Using MegaMemory Card

I just bought a MegaMemory 8mb memory card.The MegaMemory Management Software disc has to be booted first so the PS2 can recognize the card.This works fine,but when I have to use Swap Magic disc to load a backup game it doesn't work.When the load disc screen pops up the screen goes black and freezes.It acts as though I've pushed x to load the backup,but it goes to black and freezes before I can make the swap.Is there anyway to use the MegaMemory card with Swap Magic to play backups?Please help.....

I know someone can help me here....please.

BTW,I have a v7 ps2 and use the slide card trick.(Hopefully will have a flip-top soon)

The memory card works perfect with the original game.But I have a couple that are scratched really bad (kids) and I need to use the backups.

I also don't have any trouble with swap magic.Just don't know how to use both together.
