I was wondering if there is a way to ftp music from my computer to my xbox? I have a modded xbox and it reads original music cd's fine, but it does not read cdr's or cdrw. If this is possible what folder do i have to drop them in?

Yes you can take music off your pc and ftp them to your xbox. Go to E folder, music, and then into recordings and ftp them into their. You can then listen to them in media player.

What I meant to say is that I want to be able to listen to my music while I play certain games. I don’t want to drop them in the “E” folder. I want to put it in the c dive so I have access to them along my original burnings from my xbox.

My Xbox with the Thomson drive will not read CD-R, but it reads CD-RW and DVD-R/+R/RW fine. But you have to keep trying cuz it's hard for Xbox to read CD-RW sometimes. I use Sony CD-RW by the way.

You can also listen to your music in the game if the game has that feature which you want to do.
