I finally got my xbit installed with the M8 bios. I also correctly burned a boot disk (thanks to the help I got in the forums). Now my last problem is trying to connect my xbox to my pc. I have a router, FlashFXP, and patch cables. When I enter the IP 192.168.0.101 (settings) it fails to connect. I need help trouble shooting. I need to why I can't change the IP that is right below "Type". Is this IP address autiomatically supplied. Please email suggestions to ***REMOVED*** Thanks!
If you have successfully installed evox you need to go into the settings of the xbox and see what the network address and settings are and then set flashfxp to match.
Yes the IP in blue is your Xbox's IP and you need to enter that in FlashFXP to connect. If you still can't, try to change it to "static" and stay at that screen, don't go back to the Evox menu.
