new xbox hd

    i have followed seamonkey's guide to install new hd but when i boot from the new hd install-cd i get the evox dash but i don't get the option to "install new drive" i get options: setting, backup, msdasboard. and i can ftp to my xbox. so if any body knows what i doing wrong. please help.

    try using the Slayer's Auto-Install boot disc

    i failed mention that no where in any guides they say to make a dummy file in hdd install boot cd after i made the dummy file i got rid of the error 16 but now i boot to evox but don't get the "install new drive" just "setting, backup,reboot, " options. so do i have to use slayer or firefucker

    Hello, can someone help me to because i have the same problem as sepergh78 i can't get it to say install new drive at all.Is there something that we are doing wrongor what.IS there a certain bios or something.I am trying to install a 40gb for the time being and all it reads aty is 2gb or 4gb.Someoneplease help
