ok i installed xecuter 2.3b lite with xapter and found that if i connect the ide cable from the dvd-rom to the hd and connect the dvd-rom's and hd's power cable, then the flash bios screen comes up and the disc tray ejects. but if i connect the ide cable from the dvd-rom to the motherboard, then i get 2 false starts and then it stays on and frags. but if i don't connect the ide cable from the dvd-rom, then it can't read the disc. what's wrong?

edit: never mind i got it to work!!!

it depends on what drive you have. i have a thomson (the crappiest) and it reads memorex dvd+r's fine. so they should probly work for all the drives. and use nero. it's what's used in all the tutorials. and tutorials are all over the place. just go to www.xbox-scene.com.
