i just installed an xecuter 2.3b lite and then used slayer's 2.5 to install evox so i now have evox installed on my hard drive. i have an ethernet card i installed in my computer and an nic card that was already installed. i use the ethernet card for internet and am trying to use the nic card to ftp to my xbox. before i hooked my crossover cable from my xbox to my pc, there was no ip beside where it said ip. then once i did, it displayed 16.91.4.0 i then went into system settings and said use static ip: yes and beside ip it says 192.168.1.200. i've tried using 16.91.4.0 and 192.168.1.200 in flashfxp, but everytime it displays connecting, then after a while connection failed (connection timed out) i never assigned an ip address to my xbox manually. do i need to? please tell me what i'm doing wrong.

Go into the xbox settings and note down the network addresses, IP and gateway and configure flashfxp to match this. Hope it helps!

all i did was go to control panel, for XP go to network and internet connections, then network connections. for lower OS, just go to network connections. then just leave the card for the internet alone and go to the one for xbox to pc. then go to internet protocol (tcp/ip), then properties, then use the following address, and i set my ip to 192.168.0.1 and subnet mask to 255.255.255.0. then hit ok. then go to the system settings in evox and do static ip: yes. and change the ip to 192.168.0.5 (again what i set mine as) then reboot the xbox and when you go to system settings the ip should be in blue. then hook up the xbox and pc and try to connect thru flashfxp. i'm assuming you know how to use it. and that's about it. just reply if you got it to work or if you still need some help.
