hi currently i'm using ffmpeggui to encode ac3 audio.my question is what type of audio encoders do you use? or recommend to use to get ac3 audio multichannel ac3,ect.thanks in advance

I use Nuendo & the Nuendo DDE, but this is a £2500 solution.
Don't know what freeware/shareware you can use.

If your a Mac guy A-Pack is far more affordable , mindless to use and does a bang up job! Of course if your into PC's , the good stuff is DiscWelder Chrome (assuming you want to burn to DVD for standalone playback ) and it's only $5000 USD . OWCH! These guys on crack? ;)

Not as dear as the Mac stuff.
Also, Sonic DVD-A creator is the only alternative, and that is $5000 - $15000.

It is licensed technology, and if you want to play you got to pay.
Also, DVD-A is nothing whatsoever to do with AC3. That is strictly DVD-V.
